Well, we successfully crossed the pacific ocean and arrived at our destination on Wed. Feb. 8th. Joshua saw the dr. on Thursday and surgery was scheduled for Friday. The surgery went great! There were no complications and no problems or reactions to the anesthesia. Joshua is a healthy little guy so he fared well! The first day home was slow and he slept most of it. His parents were filled with glee since sleep was much needed after the 24 hours of travel. He's managing to be up more now than he was before, but is still very sleepy! The area that was operated on looks pretty nasty, but is actually alright. He'll have his catheter removed in ten days.... a day I'm very much looking forward to getting over with.
I'll post some photos soon of him.

About Me
- Matt, Mel, Josh and Caleb
- We've lived alot of places including S.Korea, Seattle and San Diego. We've liked all the places we've been, but we like our current home the best! We now live in a great town with fabulous people that appreciate the value of hard work and a kind word. Its tough to find that type of place anymore. So with that said, we enjoy taking road trips, working on our house, growing our garden, attempting new recipes, and just hanging out as a family pursuing new and old hobbies, and spending time with our families. We have lots to be thankful for, and hope to share a glimpse into that here. Visit often, sit awhile and leave a comment!
